The Discovery Islands are a group of rugged, forested islands located 150 km (100 miles) north west of the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The two most populous islands and are served by regular ferry service via the city of Campbell River, Vancouver Island.

Tourism, local services and supplies, building trades, aquaculture, silviculture and a wide range of home businesses are the economic base of the island communities. Many of these businesses are members of the Discovery Islands Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber Business Expo

The Discovery Islands Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our first annual Business Expo. The Expo will take place at Quadra Community Centre on October 22. The Expo is an excellent opportunity for the community to learn more about the Discovery Island Chamber members and their businesses. Public admission is absolutely free.

The Expo is exclusive to Discovery Islands Chamber members and is an excellent opportunity for our business members to promote and connect with the community and other businesses.

We are offering 4 booth sizes to 41 of our business members and the community kitchen is available for our food members. Included with the booth rental are complimentary workshops “Focusing on Businesses” and a business card ad in the Expo’s promotion flyer.

The River 99.7 FM will be promoting the Expo and will be on location to broadcast our event to the Comox Valley to North Island.
