Around the Point is a weekly, hour-long radio broadcast on Cortes Community Radio CKTZ 89.5 fm hosted by Philip Stone, editor of the Discovery Islander.

Around the Point airs on Saturdays at 1 pm and is re-broadcast on Tuesdays at 10 am on CKTZ 89.5 FM. The current edition is available as an MP3 audio stream or file-download to listen to later.

The show is a mix of high energy, often politically-themed music, upcoming events and news highlights from Quadra, Cortes and the Discovery Islands along with occasional commentary on politics and events provincially, nationally even globally.
